Granola

9 ingredients

4 C. old-fashioned oats
1 1/2 C. almonds , sliced or whole
1/2 C packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 C. vegetable oil
1/4 C. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 C. raisins

In a bowl mix the oats, almonds, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon. In a saucepan warm the vegetable oil, vanilla and honey. Pour the liquid over the oats and stir gently with a wooden spoon until mixed. Spread granola on the bottom of a large casserole dish.

Bake for 40 minutes at 300 degrees stirring every 10-15 minutes. cool completely before adding raisins.

Variation: Try adding dried cranberries instead of raisins.
