1 C. firmly packed brown sugar
½ C. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
½ C. raisins
¾ C. crushed pineapple, with juice
2 C. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. soda
Beat together sugar, butter, egg and vanilla until fluffy. Add raisins and pineapple and sift in flour with baking powder soda and salt. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Yields about 4 dozen.
