1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 1/4 c. sifted self-rising flour
1 c. nuts (optional)
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat. Add bananas and then the flour. Mix. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. When done, turn onto aluminum foil. Dot with butter and close foil allowing butter to melt.
