1 c. chopped onions
2 tsp. butter
6 c. beef broth
12 oz. beer
16 oz. sauerkraut
16 oz. diced tomatoes
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1 lb. kielbasa sausage, sliced
3 c. diced raw potatoes
Sauté onion in butter. Stir in broth, beer, sauerkraut, tomatoes, brown sugar and red pepper flakes. Bring to boil and simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour.
Add sausage and potatoes. Cover and cook until potatoes are tender (about 30 minutes).
